White supremacist Jack van Tongeren’s right hand man was labelled “un-Australian” as he was jailed for more than two years for plotting to bomb four Chinese restaurants in Perth as a publicity stunt.
John Van Blitterswyk, 56, was sentenced in the West Australian District Court for conspiring with three other men, including van Tongeren, to bomb the restaurants in 2004.
The court was told the neo-Nazi Australian Nationalist Movement (ANM) members concocted the plot as a stunt to coincide with the release of van Tongeren’s book, The ANM Story.
They were arrested after some ANM members were charged over racist graffiti in Perth, with two rolling over and giving evidence about the plot.

John McBeth faces a Fifa investigation days before he is due to be made Britain’s new Fifa vice-president. A new ethics committee will investigate McBeth, who stands accused of racism after allegedly suggesting African and Caribbean associations were corrupt.
He also said he had won the Fifa vote because other nations hate England.
McBeth will step down as Scottish Football Association president on Friday but the Fifa post will remain vacant during the investigation.
It is now possible that McBeth may not have the opportunity to take up his new role with Fifa.
That would see the home nations holding another election to find the person to succeed Scottish lawyer David Will, who is retiring after 17 years with Fifa.
In his interview with a number of the Sunday newspapers, McBeth described Fifa president Sepp Blatter as a “tricky customer”.
He went on to claim some Africa representatives have different ethics from the British “fair play” attitude.
“I know two or three (at Fifa) whom I’d want to count my fingers after shaking hands with them,” he said.
“If I come across corruption, I have to expose it. I must try to stay true to my beliefs and hope I don’t get seduced.
“By and large, the four British countries know what fair play is and when we are stepping out of line.
“But, as soon as you hit Africa, it’s a slightly different kettle of fish. They’re poor nations and want to grab what they can.
“I presume the Caribbean is much the same – they just come at it in a different way.”

Molefi Asante, professor of African-American studies at Temple University, led a protest yesterday in front of the Franklin Institute claiming the museum’s exhibit on King Tutankhamun is racist.”This is a crime scene,” he shouted. “This is an area of criminal theft, identity theft.”
Among the grievances shared by members of the Association of Kemetic Nubian Heritage, of which Asante is president, is that the exhibit has no mention of Africa and that information within suggests that King Tut, an African, was white.
Asante specifically pointed to a representation of Tut that “looks more like Boy George than the boy king.”
About 50 protesters walked in front of the crowded museum stairs carrying signs bearing statements including “Nefertiti is my sister,” “Stop stealing our history” and “King Tut’s daddy was black.”
Asante said the exhibit doesn’t tell visitors Egypt is in Africa, and he believes that many people leave thinking Egypt is in Europe.
He claims the museum did this for “commercial reasons.”

Five black current and former employees of Bank of America Corp. have sued the second-largest U.S. bank, accusing it of racial discrimination by steering lucrative clients to their white counterparts.The 29-page complaint, filed Thursday with the U.S. District Court in Boston, contends that the bank discriminates against African-Americans in pay, promotions, training and support services.
It said the Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank regularly teams African-American workers together and assigns them to largely minority neighborhoods and low net-worth clients.
When the workers complained, according to the lawsuit, the bank said it believed that clients are more “comfortable” dealing with bankers and brokers of their own race.

A Hollywood union has accused an executive producer of “Law & Order: SVU” of making racist and sexist remarks, claiming he often refers to Asian-Americans as “Chinamen.”
The Intl. Assn. of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) said it has complained to the show’s producer, NBC Universal Television, in three instances involving allegations against executive producer Ted Kotcheff over the past three years.
In the latest allegation, Kotcheff is accused of referring to a crew member as Stepin Fetchit, an old Hollywood stereotype denoting a servile, simple-minded black man.
The union said its attorneys notified NBC Universal brass in a letter dated April 7 that Kotcheff also told the crew member to “get your Caribbean ass out of here — go back to the Caribbean.”
The letter also claims Kotcheff “frequently refers to Asian Americans as ‘Chinamen’ and describes women in sexually derogatory and demeaning terms,” according to an IATSE press release distributed Wednesday.

A lawsuit will be Don Imus’s rejoinder to CBS Radio, which fired the controversial U.S. radio host after his recent racist and sexist comments about a university-level women’s basketball team.
Imus has hired lawyer Martin Garbus, a First Amendment specialist, to help him sue his former employer.
Garbus said on Thursday that he expects to file a breach of contract suit on behalf of Imus by next week.
According to Garbus, part of the host’s CBS contract acknowledged his services to be “irreverent” and “controversial.”

A Johannesburg metro police campaign to recruit white, coloured and Indian members could be part of the slow death of affirmative action, the trade union Solidarity said on Thursday.
The scrapping of affirmative action — and discrimination against young white people — at entry-level is “a rapidly growing trend”, said Solidarity’s deputy general secretary, Dirk Hermann.
Apart from the Johannesburg metro police, several mining houses and large businesses are actively recruiting white people at lower levels, he said.
“This means that affirmative action is slowly dying from the bottom up.”
Solidarity saw the move as the first step in a process of exempting young people from affirmative action.
However, Hermann said it should not only be scrapped at the lower levels of the labour market, but throughout.
At the moment — in the metro police — minorities are being given the message that they are being recruited, but should not expect promotion.

Rapper has dismissed comparisons between sexist hip-hop lyrics and the recent racist remarks made by radio DJ Don Imus.
Imus was suspended by CBS Radio and MSNBC on Monday after he referred to the Rutgers University women’s basketball team as ‘nappy-headed hos’–a racially charged sexist term.
Snoop frequently refers to women as “b**ches” and “hos” in his music, but he insists Imus’ use of the term was unacceptable and the 66-year-old DJ should be taken off the air.
The Doggystyle star says, “It’s a completely different scenario.”

In light of the complete media frenzy of the racist remarks by Don Imus, there seems to be a complete media blackout of 50 Cent’s racist comments. Raising the question does 50 Cent get a ‘get out of racism free card’? Certainly Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have not commented about this racist instance.

I had written much of this essay more than a year before I finally decided to post it online. A couple of personal experiences brought me onto the subject of non-white racism. I hesitated to post it, mainly because I instinctively dislike writing about anything related to race. I was brought up that way. Partly, I also convinced myself that I was first and foremost against Islam, and that writing about skin color would only complicate this fight.
However, after thinking about it for some time, I find that none of these arguments hold true. I am tired of ideological censorship. Western nations can never mount a defense against Muslim immigration if this is always dismissed as “racism.” But above all, if you believe that non-white racism exists, it is actually immoral not to deal with the problem and its victims. I am convinced that not just non-white, but also anti-white racism, are real and underestimated phenomena.

Rapper 50 Cent might be in da you-know-what for calling Jews “goons” on a radio show yesterday. On New York’s Hot 97’s “Miss Jones in the Morning” show, as the New York Daily News reports, Fitty called to weigh-in on fellow rapper Tony Yayo’s assault case. After telling the host that he didn’t think Yayo’s legal troubles would hurt “his crew,” he added, “Worry about the Je-Je-Je-Jew unit. They’re the real goon squad. When the lawyers come out, you’ll see what it is. I don’t pay nobody. I only pay the lawyers.” The rapper didn’t clarify what he meant, or if he was referring to anything in particular.

Radio host Don Imus apologized Friday for calling the Rutgers University women’s basketball team “nappy headed hos” on his nationally syndicated program.
The National Association of Black Journalists demanded his immediate firing after the man known as “Imus in the Morning” put his foot deep in his mouth Wednesday. Imus questioned the players’ looks, describing them as tattooed “rough girls.” His producer compared the team _ which has eight black members _ to the NBA’s Toronto Raptors.
Near the start of Friday’s show, Imus said he wanted to “apologize for an insensitive and ill-conceived remark we made the other morning referring to the Rutgers women’s basketball team.”
“It was completely inappropriate, and we can understand why people were offended. Our characterization was thoughtless and stupid, and we are sorry.”Gregory Lee, an NABJ officer and senior assistant sports editor at The Boston Globe, said the mea culpa did little to atone for the comments.
“You can apologize, but what does that mean when you have a history of making disparaging remarks about people?” Lee asked about the acid-tongued Imus. “This kind of behavior must be punished. I hope the company and sponsors he has take some sort of action … to educate him.”
NABJ President Bryan Monroe asked Thursday if Imus had “lost his mind” and called for the veteran radio host’s dismissal.
Imus was speaking with producer Bernard McGurk when the NCAA title game between Rutgers and Tennessee came up.

Tucson AZ, A local Chinese restaurant is getting complaints about bad taste – not from its food, but from its advertising. The restaurant’s owner says it’s meant as a joke, but some members of Tucson’s Asian-American community are not laughing.
Eggrolls Etc. is a Chinese food delivery and take-out restaurant. It distributed advertisement fliers on the East side that read, “Every order is delivered via rickshaw by first generation Chinese immigrants… We really should charge more for delivery, old Chinamen are getting expensive these days.”
“I was actually shocked when I read the advertising,” said Marie Hanna, Board President of the Pan-Asian Community Alliance. “This is a stereotype that really cannot be tolerated.”
The Pan-Asian Community Alliance plans to send a complaint letter to the restaurant owner. Similar letters have already been sent by the Tucson Chinese Association as well as the Chinese American Citizens’ Alliance. The letters say, in part, “… humor is never an excuse to deride any person or culture… we would like to see the offensive advertising immediately stopped… the ads are very offensive, insulting, and hurtful…”
The owner of the restaurant, Mike Reynolds, says the ad is not intended to be offensive.”This isn’t meant to degrade by any means the Chinese community or any kind of Asian heritage,” Reynolds said.

In September of 2006, TMZ.com had an article on their site that was entitled “Oprah Lords Over White Folk, Talks Poop on XM.” In this article it talks about how Oprah brags with her friend Gayle King on XM satellite radio about how she has an almost all white staff, and calls them “good white folks.” More recently, it seems that the Oprah’s racism is demonstrated through her girls school that was opened in Africa which is almost exclusively an all black school. When asked about this she claims that she does not have to appease the white people in the country. Yet, in another news clip she declares that she will not rest until every ‘black boy’ and every ‘black girl’ has had a chance to prove their worth.

It is becoming increasingly clear that some in the African National Congress want to ensconce affirmative action as a permanent measure and thus enforce a new form of apartheid, the Freedom Front Plus (FF+) said on Tuesday.
The party intends asking the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to pay urgent attention to its complaint about affirmative action, handed to the ILO’s Pretoria office on Youth Day last year, FF+ spokesperson Willie Spies said.
The complaint specifically deals with the fact that affirmative action in South Africa is increasingly being given a permanent nature, and that the position is being worsened through often-repeated populist statements in this regard by Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana.
“Mdladlana has this past weekend once again made the news when he said affirmative action will never be phased out in South Africa, but to the contrary will be sharpened.”
Spies said that going by Mdladlana’s past statements, it is clear he not only condones black-against-white prejudice, but even encourages it. “The ILO should take note of Mdladlana’s reckless actions in this regard.”

Cherokees voted yesterday to expel descendants of black slaves they once owned, a move that has exposed the unsavoury role played by some Native Americans during the Civil War and renewed accusations of racism against the tribe.
Members of the Cherokee Nation, the second largest Native American tribe, voted by 77 per cent to 23 in a special election to amend their constitution and limit citizenship to those listed as “Cherokee by blood”.
The move stripped tribal membership from freedmen – those descended from slaves – and blacks who were married to Cherokees. They have enjoyed full citizenship rights for 141 years.
Opponents of the vote denounced it as a racist plot to deny tribal revenue – which includes $22 billion a year from casino takings for all US tribes – to those not deemed full-blood Cherokee, and to block them from claiming a slice of the tribal pie.
Supporters say that it was a long-overdue move by Cherokees to determine their own tribal make-up. Freedmen were granted full tribal membership under an 1866 treaty that the tribe was essentially forced to sign with the US Government after the Civil War ended.
The vote has reopened a lesser-known chapter in Native American history – the fact that some of the country’s largest tribes sided with the Confederacy during the Civil War – and the intra-tribal racial tensions that have persisted since Emancipation.
Cherokees, Choctaws, Chicksaws, Creeks and Seminoles were known as the Five Civilised Tribes because they adopted many of the ways of the Confederate South, including the ownership of black slaves. The election has also high-lighted the massive gambling revenues many tribes now enjoy because, as “sovereign nations”, they are free to build casinos on tribal lands in a country where gambling is largely illegal.

Anita Ivanesic, as the Pinki company owner, is suspected of committing felony of racial discrimination by allowing sugar packets with the character of Adolf Hitler printed on them, as well as anti-Semitic content.
Prosecution believes that the 35-year-old woman should be questioned, as well as a larger number of witnesses during the inquest.
As the Jutarnji list daily writes, the Pozega State Attorney’s office will decide on the charges after the inquest is finalised.

Houston’s affirmative action program — it was created to stop discrimination but now it’s helping the rich get richer. If you think affirmative action was controversial before, wait until you see what a multi-million dollar mess it has become.
Drive south on the bridge to Kemah and look to your right. It’s hard not to notice an 11,000 square foot mansion. The property appraises at about $2 million. Do the owners look like they need affirmative action help from Houston’s city hall? Well, they got it — to the tune of $12 million.
We asked city affirmative action director Velma Laws, “Do you think it’s fair that people with mansions can get affirmative action contracts?”
“I believe it’s fair if they are qualified to participate in the program,” she responded.
Imagine a big icebox pie, except this one doesn’t just have lemon filling. It’s full of money — city contracts. For 22 years Houston’s city hall has used affirmative action to make sure qualified minority and women-owned companies get a piece of the pie. Contractors wanting city business have to make a good faith pledge that a percentage of the work will go there.

A racist article was just printed in a San Francisco weekly newspaper named AsianWeek. Kenneth Eng who has called himself a Asian supremacist in the past was still writing for this newspaper even after he had in the past published articles called “Proof That Whites Inherently Hate Us” and “Why I Hate Asians.” AsianWeek has removed the “Why I Hate Blacks” article from the AsianWeek.com website, however, it was still published in the print edition of their newspaper. Here is a list of reasons why we should discriminate against blacks, starting from the most obvious down to the least obvious:
• Blacks hate us. Every Asian who has ever come across
them knows that they take almost every opportunity to hurl
racist remarks at us.In my experience, I would say about 90 percent of blacks I have met, regardless of age or environment, poke fun at the very sight of an Asian. Furthermore, their activity in the media proves their hatred: Rush Hour, Exit Wounds, Hot 97, etc.
