The incident is understood to have occured in the early hours of this morning, as the paint was still wet when it was discovered.

The graffiti was painted on a wall on the School Road in Newtownbreda, Castlereagh.  Police have carried out door to door inquiries.  The graffiti was anti-Polish in nature and there were swastikas also painted.  Jimmy Spratt, the DUP Mayor of Castlreagh, said: “I condemn this graffiti utterly.”  This type of incident is not welcome anywhere in Northern Ireland.”
